Hakuba Goryu & Hakuba 47 Ski Area
There are plenty variations of courses, as many as 23 courses, such as “park”, ”powder”, or “bump” enjoyable for both advanced and beginners.
Hakuba Happo Ski Area
Downhill Event of Nagano Olympics in 1998 was held in here. Bump Courses like Usagidaira and Kurobishi are popular. Since the angle of tilt is quite sharp, more skiers than snowboarders. There are 14 courses in Happo.
Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area
Tsugaike Kogen ski resort is enjoyable especially for beginners and families. Widespread course of over 1,200m and gentle slope is popular. Recommended for families with small children and beginners of ski or snowboard. There are 9 slopes in Tsugaike Kogen and snowmoto riding is allowed on all slopes!
Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Area
Tends to be less crowded on the resort than the other popular places. There is a mogul course run by Japanese Beverage Company (Sangaria). If you are looking for a place for Mogul, this is the place. Snowboarding and Snowscooting are permitted in every 12 courses. Also connected by a lift to the Hakuba Cortina Ski resort where is famous of its Powder Snow.
